📥 Where do I get these reports? Seller Central export steps

1. Orders: "Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item" (optional)

Seller Central > Reports > Business Reports
Left menu (By ASIN) > Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item
Set From / To dates > Download (.csv)

Maps to: SKU -> (Child) ASIN/SKU, Units -> Units Ordered, Gross sales -> Ordered Product Sales

2. Settlement: "Flat File V2"

Seller Central > Payments > All Statements
Pick the Settlement Period > Download Flat File V2 (click Request Report first if needed)
Only the last 90 days are available, so export regularly to build history

Maps to: SKU -> sku, Amount -> amount

3. Advertising: "Advertised product" (optional)

Seller Central > Reports > Advertising Reports
Create Report > Sponsored Products > Advertised product
Set date range > Run report > Download (.csv)

Maps to: SKU -> Advertised SKU, Ad spend -> Spend

4. COGS: your own file (optional)

Amazon has no cost report. Make a tiny CSV with two columns: sku, cost-per-unit

Maps to: SKU -> sku, Cost -> cost-per-unit

Menu wording can vary slightly by marketplace/account. Column names are read from your file, so mapping still works even if they differ.

1Orders report (optional)

Reports > Business Reports > Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item > Download (.csv). We read SKU, units and gross sales. Adds gross sales, Amazon fees and margin per SKU. Skip it and the settlement journal still runs.

2Settlement report (this one is enough to run)

Payments > All Statements > Download Flat File V2. We sum the amount per SKU = net proceeds after Amazon's fees. On its own this gives you the categorized settlement and a balanced journal.

Reports > Advertising Reports > Create Report > Sponsored Products > Advertised product. We sum ad spend per SKU, so you see profit after ads.

👥 Client workspaces (bookkeepers): separate account names and mappings per client

Each workspace keeps its own journal account names and custom line-type mappings, saved in this browser only. Switching clears computed results, so one client's export can never use another client's mapping. Export filenames carry the workspace name.

⚙️ Journal account names (QuickBooks / Xero): click to rename

These names are used in the journal export and saved in your browser only. Ask your bookkeeper which chart-of-accounts names to use; leave a field empty to reset it to the default.

Nothing here is locked today: every export stays open during validation, and the key records your Founding, Pro or Bookkeeper status. Free use covers your own books and your employer's.
