📥 Where do I get these reports? Seller Central export steps

1. Orders: "Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item" (optional)

  1. Seller Central > Reports > Business Reports
  2. Left menu (By ASIN) > Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item
  3. Set From / To dates > Download (.csv)
Maps to: SKU -> (Child) ASIN/SKU, Units -> Units Ordered, Gross sales -> Ordered Product Sales

2. Settlement: "Flat File V2"

  1. Seller Central > Payments > All Statements
  2. Pick the Settlement Period > Download Flat File V2 (click Request Report first if needed)
  3. Only the last 90 days are available, so export regularly to build history

3. Advertising: "Advertised product" (optional)

  1. Seller Central > Reports > Advertising Reports
  2. Create Report > Sponsored Products > Advertised product
  3. Set date range > Run report > Download (.csv)

4. COGS: your own file (optional)

  1. Amazon has no cost report. Make a tiny CSV with two columns: sku, cost-per-unit

Menu wording can vary slightly by marketplace/account. Column names are read from your file, so mapping still works even if they differ.

1Orders report (optional)

Reports > Business Reports > Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item > Download (.csv). We read SKU, units and gross sales. Adds gross sales, Amazon fees and margin per SKU. Skip it and the settlement journal still runs.

2Settlement report (this one is enough to run)

Payments > All Statements > Download Flat File V2. We sum the amount per SKU = net proceeds after Amazon's fees. On its own this gives you the categorized settlement and a balanced journal.

👥 Client workspaces (bookkeepers): separate account names and mappings per client
Each workspace keeps its own journal account names and custom line-type mappings, saved in this browser only. Switching clears computed results, so one client's export can never use another client's mapping. Export filenames carry the workspace name.
Xero draft import settings
Saved only in this client workspace. Enter the real Xero base currency and account codes. SkuSum does not guess account codes or tax rate names.
Tax on the draft. "Leave TaxRate blank" exports the generic journal with no tax rate, for you to set in Xero. "VAT inclusive amounts with tax rates" follows the shape a connector posts: sales and refunds carry their VAT inside the amount, refunds get their own line, Amazon fees take your expense rate, and no separate tax line is booked. Type the three rate names exactly as they appear in your Xero organisation. After importing, set each draft journal to Tax Inclusive in Xero. Each sales and refund line states the VAT Amazon reported inside it: if Xero computes a different figure, some items are not at that rate, and the journal needs your attention before posting.
⚙️ Journal account names (QuickBooks / Xero): click to rename
These names are used in the journal export and saved in your browser only. Ask your bookkeeper which chart-of-accounts names to use; leave a field empty to reset it to the default.
🔑 License key (Founding, Pro or Bookkeeper)
The key is verified and stored in this browser only. It is never sent anywhere. Nothing here is locked today: every export stays open during validation, and the key records your Founding, Pro or Bookkeeper status. Free use covers your own books and your employer's. Paid client work needs a Bookkeeper licence, and during validation that is free to any practitioner who tells us what the tool gets wrong on one real settlement, just write to hello@skusum.com.
